the opening of our new studio space in
downtown Charlottesville.

With over 20 years of experience in broadcast television production, Silverthorn Films is bringing affordability to professional quality studio projects.

Located one block from the Downtown Mall, our new production studio offers everything you need from convenience, to affordability, to quality.

The 31’ by 18’ studio space is the perfect space to shoot everything from set pieces to interviews, commercials, band demos, legal videos, photography stills, college admission or talent admission reels.

The studio comes equipped with a lighting grid and a variety of tungsten and daylight-balanced lighting instruments, as well as several backdrops including the ability to do large green screen or horizonless white projects. Also included are several interview sets and the ability to construct and store custom sets for repeat clients. Our equipment packages include pro-level HD video equipment and industry standard audio recording gear. To help with any studio shoot, we have designers and engineers on staff to assist with everything from pre to post-production including development and editorial services.
